Clarence Blatt joined Stanford Properties Group Inc. Inc. 2007, and is responsible for the overall administrative and accounting functions of the company, including properties owned as well as those administered under general, limited partnerships, and joint ventures.
Mr. Blatt began his career as a chartered accountant and remained in public practice for several years as a senior partner of a diversified and dynamic firm of Chartered Accountants. His practice consisted primarily of successful entrepreneurs, with a strong emphasis on real estate rentals and development projects.
Mr. Blatt subsequently acquired several small companies related to the marketing and distribution of consumer products. Through his efforts he merged the various operations and grew the business twelve fold.
Mr. Blatt’s most recent endeavor, prior to joining Stanford Properties Group Inc was Chief Financial Officer of a large family held real estate organization, with a portfolio totaling in excess of $150 million. His duties also included overseeing the management of the various properties and in some instances managing specific properties.
Mr. Blatt has a B.Comm from McGill University (Honour’s Economics and Honours Accounting) and is a life member of The Charted Professional Accounts of Quebec, Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia. While practicing his profession he served as a member of The Auditing Standards Committee of The Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (formerly The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants) and lectured extensively at McGill University in taxation, accounting, and auditing. He has also served as a board and executive member on numerous business, professional, educational, charitable, and social organizations.
